We regret to inform you that as of today February 29th, 2008 Selmedica Healthcare, Inc. will be discontinuing the affiliate program. Due to unforeseen regulatory and market changes we are not longer able to allow the affiliate program to refer sales to Selmedica Healthcare Inc.

BUYER BEWARE... Selmedica has stopped paying their sales force. They no longer answer emails or phone calls. I would be very leery about purchasing from a company who does not pay for their advertising. What will happen if you want to return a product?

Our company OurFamilysHealth.com has not been paid for any sales in 2008 but they are still selling products.

Another company posted this information on their site:

"They owe us over $3000 and will not respond to any of our inquiries. They told us back in July, 2007 that they were having some financial problems that they expected to clear up by October, 2007. Well, it is February, 2008 now and they will not talk to us at all."

On a scale of (1) excellent to (5) poor how would you rate Stardoves service?
Answer: 4 -- Service at times was unprofessional and staff not able or willing to explain or assist with technical details of proper formatting of email adverts for an email campaign.

I would not recommend Stardoves for retail merchandising. Results were poor; the ad barely paid for itself.

I do a good deal of email advertising, and this campaign compared in response to a 3,000 list at best, certainly not a 500,000 list. When I spoke of this to [Stardoves], wondering if their program was not working properly, they were angry, defensive, insulting, and told me I was being difficult. I've been told my emails to them will not be read in the future. Anonymous

I have had a poor response. I have two email addresses with different companies that are on the Stardoves list. Yesterday my [one] account got 5 Stardoves ads while this email address only got one. Something is not right. Anonymous

I purchased 4 ads. The first ad never appeared, but they said it did go out. The second ad got zero response and our Status Report never showed any clicks. The third ad never appeared and Stardoves has not return my phone calls or replied to any of my emails.

What is a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)?

Infections of the Urinary Tract are extremely common, accounting for more than 8 million doctor's visits a year. Approximately 8 - 10 million people in the USA develop a UTI each year. Men, women and children develop UTI's.

Urinary Tract Infections (UTI's) usually occurs when bacteria enter the opening of the urethra and multiply in the urinary tract. The urinary tract includes the two kidneys, ureters (tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder), the bladder itself, and the urethra (the tube that carries urine from the bladder to the urethral opening).

Twenty percent of women in the United States develop a UTI and twenty percent of those have a recurrence.

What is the usual treatment for a UTI?

Once a UTI has been diagnosed, most conventional doctors choose antibiotics as the preferred treatment. A course of antibiotics can quickly cure a UTI and kill the bacteria that cause it.

Although antibiotics certainly have their place, there are two main problems with antibiotic use for urinary tract infections:

1. Due to the frequency of antibiotic use for UTI's and other infections, bacteria are developing a resistance to the antibiotics, making them less and less effective. The 'smarter' the antibiotics become, the 'smarter' the bacteria become as well. Eventually, the bacteria will mutate to avoid the effects of the antibiotics.

2. Frequent use of antibiotics will also affect your immune system functioning. As we have seen above, a healthy immune system is important in the prevention of UTI's. This means that the antibiotics that are used to cure your UTI may make another infection more likely in the near future.
